The change of seasons is subtle in Cuba. Cuba does not experience freezing weather as in many areas of the USA. The rainy season in Cuba runs from May until November. During winter and early Spring, Cuba receives Nor'Easters which cause tremendous waves to pound El Malecon in Havana. Hurricanes and tropical storms threaten Cuba each year between June and October.
